Anya looked at him and took a deep breath. "I still feel bad. I left all of you without even a single word of how I felt. Then here I am two years later and the world couldn`t be more different. It`s like I was stuck in glass while the world passed me by quicker then I could catch up. I mean today I`ve seen more technology then I`ve ever known."

Dante nodded. "Yeah.. What was it like where you went?"

"It was kinda like when you have a nightmare. People were constantly saying things that made no sense. If you did things wrong too many times they whip you in the back with a whip as punishment. No one talked to each other unless they were giving instructions or discussing important matters. It was kind of like a painful solitary confinement." Anya said quietly not liking remembering the memories.

Dante frowned. "That sounds horrible." He said, trying to imagine what that would be like. He put a hand on her shoulder. "I'm sorry that you had to go through that."

Anya looked back at him and gave a weak smile. "It was my own fault for deciding to do something stupid. Anyway physical pain is forgotten over time. Being away from you and everyone else was the most torturous thing about it."

Dante nodded. "A lot's Most people are gone now. I've been by myself for about a year now. Most people we know were arrested or have left by now."

Dante nodded. "Yeah... but, I'm glad that you're back."

Dante looked at her and smiled. He then looked out towards the horizon again, sitting in the silence.

"Have you ever been outside of this city?" Anya asked curiously.

Dante shook his head. "No way out, now. People started leaving and then the border closed. Walls are too heavily guarded."

Dante patted her shoulder. "I know, I know, they don't care about us. Don't make too much noise, though. You might draw somebody's attention."

Anya said and held on to his arm for support as she stumbled a bit. She sat down and laid down on the roof. "I need to rest a bit. Being in this form is proving difficult. Once I switch back I`m 100% sure I`m going to pass out."

Dante sat down next to her and smiled. "We'll keep moving when you're ready. Take your time."

Anya nodded before the appearance she had vanished in light and she laid on the roof unconscious.

Dante sat there, leaning back on his arms, looking up at the sky. His feet dangling off the portion of the roof they were on.

Anya slept silently her stomach growling in her sleep.

Dante's sighed. "Yeah.. Probably should've grabbed some food." He mumbled, frowning.

Anya rolled over in her sleep.

Dante had, at some point, passed out on the roof. He was curled up in his sleep, his knees to his chest and his head resting on his arm.

A few hours later Anya woke up shivering. She sat up and looked around seeing Dante had fallen asleep. Then she looked up at the sky. It was still dark out. The moon was high in the sky with a full moon. Anya got up and started to walk towards the side of the roof unconiously.

Dante remained asleep. He was curled up due to the cold. His breath could be seen in the air.

Anya walked to the edge and looked down before looking up at the moon again. She snapped out of the trance though when she tried putting her foot out off the edge. "What the!?"
