Dante walked over to a pipe that was within arms reach above their heads. He grabbed onto it from the bottom, and proceeded to climb his way across, holding himself up with his hands while he dangled from the pipe.

Anya looked up at the pipe and hopped on to it too climbing up like he did. It was obvious her physical strength was a better compared to when she was sixteen.

Dante continued across and eventually got down on the other side, which was another rooftop. "You really weren't dead, huh?" He asked her.

"No, I have no doubt that I if you went into that new lake you`d find my corpse. Just under circumstances I didn`t stay dead. I guess you could call me a ghost if anything. I hope that doesn`t mean I`m a demon or something." She said after getting on the roof shivering at the last part.

Dante nodded. "I hope you're not." He said, walking over to another part of the roof, which was a bit higher than the rest of it. He climbed on top of it and looked around, trying to get his bearings.

Anyaclosed her eyes and took a deep breath and smiled. "Hmm, it smells nice up here."

Dante shook his head. "No. I kept looking though. I felt like I had to find them. Like it was a responsibility of mine."

Dante continued to look away. "L-Like what?" He said, still stuttering.

"When it comes to being embarrassed about something you start stuttering and becoming nervous when people question it." Anya said imply before taking a few steps back to give him room.

Anya nodded. "It`s strange, out of any person in the world you know the most about me and I you, but for some reason I can never seem to wrap my head around some of your emotions." She said thoughtfully frowning a bit.

Dante shrugged. "Same about you. But if we knew what each other were thinking, we wouldn't talk to each other as much."

Dante nodded and sat there in the silence, looking at the sun, which was starting to go down. "..I still can't believe it.." He said, smiling slightly. "You were gone for two years. I got more friends in those two years then I had ever had. And yet... I still felt so lonely."

Anya looked at him softly. "I think both of us can say not seeing each other for two years wasn`t exactly a good thing. I`m glad that you`ve made friends though." She said with a soft smile that held regret behind it. "I should`ve never decided to drink that stupid vial though."

Dante shook his head and smiled. "Don't say that. It didn't kill you, so it might have actually been a good thing." He then sighed and put his hands in his pockets. "And I guess friend isn't really the right word for the people I met. But they were the closest thing I had to friends while you were gone."
