Almos drew his sword as well. He got into a fighting stance, his eyes observing and calculating how to attack.

"Go!" Gem yelled and the man ran at him swinging his sword down harshly for a strong blow.

Almos side-stepped the sword, barely avoiding it. He slashed his sword at the attacker.

The man blocked it before slashing his sword at Almos`s side.

Almos blocked the slash and jumped back, raising his sword in front of him again.

The man dropped his sword and quickly pulled his hands away knowing that he couldn`t block it or keep the sword when retreating.

Almos put the sword an inch away from the man's throat.

The man put his hands up in defeat. Gem looked at Almos her interest peeked.

The man shook his head. "Your smart, I wouldn`t have gone for the wrists." He said and picked up his sword.

The man walked to his seat and Gem got up before walking in front of all of them. "All of you have some level of experience in swordsmanship I see. Even some of you I wouldn`t expect to have it. As any skill goes, all of you also have different styles. While some are forceful and strong others are tactical and strategic." She said looking over all of them.

Lark looked at Almos as he came up. "Good job," she said with a smirk before looking at Gem.

"Well you may not be good at stores but you are good at finding openings. Did you ever have training like that when it came to learning magic?" Lark asked curiously keeping her voice low as well.

"If you mean other people then no not really. I mean I fought my uncle a few times and trained tons but I've never been in a real fight." Lark explained.

Lark nodded before standing up as Gem was telling them they`d go do archery now. "I guess there aren`t many fair fights where your from right now."
