"I guess it's okay to be negative sometimes though. Without people being negative the world would be an unless cycle of happy and that'd be scary." Anya pointed out.

Anya smiled. "Nothing really, I'm just happy that besides all this I still ahve my best friend by my side that I can laugh with."

Dante shook his head. "I shouldn't have let us drink that. I just wish I could've gone with you. Maybe they didn't let me go because we were friends."

Anya looked at him and shook her head. "No it was because you were stronger believe it or not. The liquid we drank takes so much from the body that about one in a hundred actually survive the effects. I never had a chance but you did. I just hope any of it doesn`t get into the hands of those peacekeepers."

"I wouldn`t doubt them though. I hate to say it but some people form the orphanage have joined them for the better benefits." Anya pointed out.

Anya nodded. "It's hard to think about it. There are bad feelings on both sides when it comes to stuff like that."

Dante nodded. "Yeah.. I wish they didn't do it the way they do, though. There's a reason why I'm so thankful for Douglas. A new law was passed a year after you died. If you were an orphan and weren't adopted, you would become a peacekeeper at age 18. Douglas adopted me a few days before my birthday."

Anya smiled. "He's a good man. I don't know how I would've reacted to you being a peacekeeper when I returned." She said and thought about it. "Put I'm eighteen and I wasn't recruited because they don't know I'm alive. What if that news leaks to them?"
