Anya looked around saw a glint of shiny gold. She walked over and picked up the desert eagle pistol.

"It's just to mark you. There's other ways to do it, though. Like, tattoos and stuff."

Dante walked into a room that was mostly dark, except for a beam of light, sgining down on a strange device.

Dante pulled the switch and a small , metal circle came down onto Anya's hand. It was red hot.

Anya gritted her teeth in pain. It definatly wasn't pleasent to be burned.

Dante nodded and pulled the lever back up, the circle lifting back up.

Anya backed up from the machine quickly. She looked at the burn marks on her hand. "That's going to be in bad condition for awhile." She commented trying to get her head away from the pain amd burning sensation in her hand.

"It's fine, how long did it take yours to heal?" Anya asked wanting to have an idea of how long it would be.
