Dante kept his face buried in the mattress. "It doesn't matter. She's dead. I can't forgive myself."

She sighed. "Teenagers are so complex." she mumbled. "None of you ever speak your mind you just hold it in and then you wonder why no one cares."

Dante raised his head and looked at her, tears in his eyes. He was smiling, however. "I know you care." He said, standing up.

Ella looked up at him worriedly. "You have to stay strong, your the only person I can talk too here except Anya."

Dante sighed and looked at Anya, his eyes tearing up. "Anya, this kinda sucks, doesn't it?" He said, chuckling. "There were so many places we were gonna see.. and I was so determined to get you that bag of chips you wanted.." he said, burying his face in the mattress again. "I'm sorry.."

Ella went outside and looked around at the kids fighting with sticks and playing with a couple toys. She hugged her bunny. The stuffed animal had been given to her by her parents when she was a baby. They`d been taken by the Peacekeepers for protecting people who`d helped the rebellion that now had ended just last year.

Dante looked at Anya and put his hand to her cheek. "I'm gonna miss you." He said, tears rolling down his face.

Nana opened the door and looked at him. "Dante, we need to take her now." She said sadly regret in her eyes.

"Your protecting a corpse Dante. Anya isn't there anymore. It's a shell of what used to be there." Nana said getting angry now. He was making this harder.

"You've given me no choice then." Nana said and looked inti the hall. "Restrain him," she said as two peacekeepers came in and took both of Dante's arms as another came in and picked up Anya's body.

Dante thrashed against them. "No!" He shouted and fighting as hard as he could.

Anya's body was taken out of the room and as soon as the sound of a car driving off from outside was heard the two Peacekeepers let him go and left. Nana stood at the door and looked at him regretfully.
